Saturday 10th March

Historic Ripon and Ripon Workhouse

 (FREE Entry to the Museums)

Goings on at the Police, Prison & Courthouse Museums.

An insight into bygone times.  Ripon Cathedral one

of the many attractions of this market town



Saturday 12th May

Harrogate Town

Harrogate with its handsome historic buildings and

verdant gardens, Harrogate is one of Yorkshire's most

elegant destinations. Set aside a weekend and indulge

in an antiques hunt in the morning, lunch at the famous

Betty's tearoom and then a visit to the luxurious Turkish baths.


Saturday 7th July

Hexham Market Town and Hexham Carnival

A day out for all the family: music, rides, stalls, food, all in

the wonderful setting of the Abbey grounds with its newly

 restored bandstand. The picturesque market town of 

Hexham lies just a few miles from Hadrian's Wall.

It has a huge amount to offer as you enjoy its many historical

and cultural attractions, including Hexham Abbey, which

has been a place of Christian worship since AD674.




Saturday 22nd September

Richmond and the Georgian Theatre

Beautiful Richmond with its Norman Castle, a variety

of museums and lovely market square. An opportunity

 to visit the recently restored Georgian Theatre

(admissions £4 if block booked for a party of 10+ optional)



Saturday 13th October

Pickering Wartime Weekend

Relive the camaraderie of WW2 and enjoy the

various re-enactments, entertainment and vehicle

displays along the line. The town comes alive with

Land Girls, Land Army, Crooners and Lindy Hoppers

creating dazzling sights and sounds!



Saturday 8th December Majestic York

Majestic York with its Minster and Shambles.

Visit the delightful Fairfax House for a true Georgian experience (Optional admission £7.50 or £6 concessions).
